Farewell to Managing Editor Victoria Lai

• After a career in law reporting spanning 27 years, including 14 years at Thomson Reuters, Victoria Lai has retired as the Managing Editor of the Hong Kong Law Reports & Digest and Hong Court of Final Appeal Reports. We’re extremely grateful to Vicky. She’s made a substantial and significant contribution to our law reports over many years.
• In a farewell tribute, General Editor Justice Kemal Bokhary said: "As Managing Editor of these two authorised series, [Victoria] has done them – and through them, the law – very great service indeed."
• Even though Vicky is retiring, we’re pleased she’ll continue as an expert, contributor to our law reports portfolio. We wish Vicky well for the next chapter in her life.

Law Reports Manager Tania Zadoroznyj

• Tania Zadoroznyj has managed our Australian law reports and editorial team since 2013, and our New Zealand law reports titles since 2019.
• Tania is expanding her portfolio to include the two HK titles and has become Asia Pacific Law Reports Manager.

Principal Editor Chelsea Ma

• Chelsea Ma joined the TR HK office in August 2022 as a Legal Editor in the law reports team. Chelsea has been promoted to the new role of Principal Editor (HK Law Reports), reporting to Manager Tania Zadoroznyj.
• A former barrister, Chelsea coordinates the editorial workflow for the HK Law Reports & Digest and the Court of Final Appeals Reports. She also is the key liaision point with the General Editor, Justice Bokhary.

Welcome to new Legal Editor Sylvia Lee

• Sylvia Lee has joined Thomson Reuters as a Legal Editor (Law Reports) in our HK office. Sylvia has 7 years’ post-qualification experience as a Government Counsel in the civil litigation and advisory team at the HK Department of Justice.
• Sylvia also served on the editorial board for the Hong Kong Environmental Law Guidebook published by the DoJ’s Planning, Environment, Lands & Housing Unit.
• Sylvia reports to Manager Tania Zadoroznyj.

Senior Law Reports Analyst Rowena Oldfield

• Rowena Oldfield is a Senior Analyst and Product Specialist with many years’ experience across multiple functions, products and portfolios at Thomson Reuters.
• Ro has transferred to the Law Reports Team after 3 years with our Legislation Team. She’ll support Tania, Chelsea and Sylvia with schedule tracking, process improvement and law reports projects and administration.
