Chan Yan Cheong (陳忍昌) v Research Grants Council of University Grants Committee [2023] 1 HKLRD 808 

“This case offers a summary of the principles on academic judgment immunity and an illustration of their application.”

Lam Wai Wing v Yim Shun Yee Ada (Coroner) [2023] 1 HKLRD 861 

“This case illustrates the inappropriateness of acting on a lay witness's concession or apparent concession that an act was unlawful, which is a conclusion of law. In fairness to the Coroner, it should be said that she does not appear to have received as much assistance from counsel appearing before her as the Judge subsequently received from counsel appearing before him.”
